Programs are provided by private companies, but held onsite at Marshdale for the convenience of our families. Reach out to the individual programs with specific questions. Contact us with general questions.
Students can join Afterschool enrichment throughout the semester.
Chess - The Knight School (Monday) A kid-centered "Chess Party" teaching kids of all ages every cool trick, strategy, and tactic in chessdom. Kids learn to love and master chess, their classroom, sports, and their home lives as well! Flyer: learn more Location: Music Room Grades: K-5th
Evergreen Art School Ms. Jules is back for a 5th year at Marshdale! Join this interactive art class for all skill levels. Learn to draw and paint in a relaxed and fun environment with exciting themes. Flyer: learn more Location: Art Room Grades: 1st-5th
Overtime Athletics Multi-sport programs & camps benefiting children aged 3-14 years physically, mentally, socially, and emotionally. Introduces the fundamentals of 20 different sports (soccer, hockey, tennis, basketball, lacrosse, football, running, baseball, cheerleading, & more) in a non-competitive environment. Marshdale Singers An extracurricular choir for 2nd-5th graders at Marshdale. We sing, we move, we perform, and we have a lot of fun. We perform for parents and Marshdale students. Location: Music Room Grades: 2nd-5th
Coding & Robotics Club We use hands-on projects to teach robotics and coding, which helps KG-2nd grade students develop creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork. Location: Mrs. Boyce's Room Grades: KG-2nd
Marshdale Makers Club Join the Marshdale Makers club for hands-on, imagination-fueled collaboration where K–5 students dive into favorite stories and bring them to life through creative design and building challenges. Flyer: learn more Grades: K-5th
AI & Robotics This fun, hands-on program introduces students in Grades K–5 to how AI "thinks," how robots sense and move, and how humans and technology work together to solve real-world problems. Explore More! Nature Program A 7 week program for students in kindergarten through 5th grade. Each class consists of a short nature-based lesson followed by games, art projects, nature journaling and hikes, of course! Meets in a designated school location and then heads outside to explore. GEMS Girls Club Through games, crafts, and fun activities, GEMS Club helps KG-5th grade girls build on their faith, develop lasting friendships, and connect with Christian mentors twice a month. Contact: julrowland@gmail.com Location: Art Room Grades: K-5th
Tennis Time For over 15 years, nearly 35,000 kids have enjoyed our after school tennis club across the country! Our tennis coaches bring all the tennis fun for your kids of all ages, including age appropriate tennis rackets, low compression balls, and tennis nets.
